Maryland Day 2008
Explore our world—and the impact of Maryland’s academic programs and research over the last decade. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of this open house event, we’re topping our past bakery feats and serving up 50,000 cupcakes on Hornbake Mall. Also returning: live performances, TERP athletics, workshops, great food and more. Events are held throughout campus and parking and admission are free.

“Affordable Housing: Designing an American Asset”
This traveling exhibition, curated by
university professors Ralph Bennett and Isabelle Gournay at the School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, is coming home. It features 18 projects from across the nation demonstrating that well-designed developments can offer new opportunities for the least wealthy Americans. The Gallery show coincides with an annual lecture and symposium focusing on affordable housing.
