How many can you find?
The University of Maryland invites you to join in celebration of its 150th Anniversary with a trip around the state to view the beloved Maryland mascot transformed with beautifully whimsical designs and transplanted into a community near you. The Fear the Turtle Sculpture Project celebrates the creativity of local artists whose designs captured the university's achievements and its historic connections to the state.
The four-and-a-half-foot sculptures will be on display through September. Send us your photo taken with your favorite for posting on the university Web site. Visit www.150years.umd.edu for details. You can even enter a sweepstakes to win a 150th Anniversary Apple iPod nano.
